New Zond-12e GPR system shielded air launched 900A antenna unit is general purpose antenna unit with coupled transmitting and receiving antennas with less ringing level, wider for 50% spectrum, possibility to work in lifted position (suitable to work on Shockproof Cart), increased resolution on the same penetration depth, designed for different kind of ground and specially for loamy ground to displace obsolete shielded surface coupled 900 MHz antenna unit.
Shielded air launched 900A antenna unit is designed for all kind underground utilities detection (pipes, cabeles, underground constructions, etc.) with higher resolution.
* Relationship between resolution and sounding depth is assumed that sounding is made in a soil whose relative dielectric permittivity is equal to 4 and specific attenuation is 1 to 2 dB/m. Depth of investigation is understood to be detection depth of a flat boundary with reflectance equal to 1. Note that these data are rather approximate and are strongly dependent on parameters of the environment sounded.
